Franklin, TN - SME is now offering individual Canon PG/CL and/or Lexmark 41-44/Dell series 7 modules for the Shoptester 200 inkjet circuit and print tester system.
The new modules are multi-functional. Installed in the Shoptester 200 they run a 5 second pre-process circuit test to cull out electrically bad cartridges and a post-fill print test which only takes about 20 seconds (much faster than using an actual printer). The Canon module also has the capability to reset the recognition code and turn off the ink-level indicator on many cartridges as well.
The Shoptester 200 eliminates the requirement for the “wall of test printers”. It is a small footprint--an all-in-one industrial-grade circuit and print tester that tests more than 100 of the most popular HP, Lexmark, Canon, and Dell thermal inkjet cartridges and even converts and resets many of them as well. It is the only tester available that tests for the very important TSR sensor on many HP cartridges.
