Solutions to HP 28/57/58 color cartridges
Franklin, Tennessee USA – CBR-SME has developed several new fixtures for the cleaning and filling of the HP tri-color 28/57/58 cartridges. These fixtures are designed to fit CBR-SME’s existing cleaning and filling equipment.
The VF35 and CF35 filling fixtures consist of a vacuum box, cartridge cradles, and interchangeable lids. All lids come complete with needles and an integrated needle configuration. The VF35 fills one cartridge on the ColorFillTM 330 per cycle, while the CF35 fills three cartridges per cycle on the ColorFillTM 600.
The VC35 x 6 cleaning fixture is used on the VersaCleanTM 440 flush-cleaning machines. This fixture enables the machine to flush warm water through the foams of six cartridges per cycle, thereby cleaning the printhead, nozzles and ink delivery system, while also removing all ink from the foams.
For centrifuging purposes, CBR-SME has developed the DS35 fixture for its DS100 Centrifuge. The DS35 holds eight cartridges firmly in place inside the centrifuge. During the process, water is evacuated through the processing and vent holes
