SME’s New Rack and Drum To Reduce Inkjet Cartridge Handling
SME’s New Rack and Drum To Reduce Inkjet Cartridge Handling
Franklin , TN – SME has introduced a new drum for its SpinMaxx 240 centrifuge that accepts a new rack that is also compatible with its VersaClean and JetDry machines. With this solution, six HP 57 family cartridges are loaded into a rack and moved through the cleaning, evacuation, and drying steps all together. “Using machine compatible racks in this manner can dramatically improve process flow,” commented Markus Kunz, SME VP.
The new drum for the SpinMaxx 240 centrifuge can hold up to up to six of these new racks, allowing up to thirty-six HP 57 cartridges to be processed at one time.
