Inkjetfactory™ quadruples production speeds!

Franklin, TN – FAES USA, the world’s leader in high-quality inkjet remanufacturing equipment has announced a breakthrough processing upgrade on their popular all-in-one Inkjetfactory™ automated retail refilling system.

The (patent-pending) Inkjetfactory™ was originally developed for stand-alone retail and kiosk operations requiring high inkjet remanufacturing success rates but without skilled operators.  The color touch-screen display on the Inkjetfactory™ guides operators through simple step-by-step instructions to remanufacture most every popular inkjet cartridge.  FAES USA has now added industrial batch-processing software for processing up to 40 cartridges per hour.  This gives the user incredible flexibility when it comes to processing individual or large batches of cartridges.

“The Inkjetfactory™ really has evolved over the past eight months from solely a professional retail refilling system into a combination storefront and rugged industrial machine that can process up to 300 inkjet cartridges per day”, remarked Markus Kunz, Vice-President of  FAES USA.

Officially introduced in October 2004 at the Recharger World Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Inkjetfactory™ garnered plenty of attention because of its state-of-the-art components not previously available on a single small-footprint chassis.   The Inkjetfactory™ programming automatically selects the correct ink type (up to 12 different inks), refills the cartridge with exact fill amounts (adjustable), and even flushes its ink lines at night to prevent line-clogging plague caused by dried ink.  Some other highlights include an universal table-top high-speed centrifuge for safely extracting residual inks,  built-in nozzle-plate atomization that gently removes dried ink residues from cartridge nozzle plates automatically, and a built-in drill press (including guide fixtures) that allows processing without having to remove the top off of the cartridge.

The Inkjetfactory™ only requires a compressed air source, purified water, and 110V electricity.  It is very easy to maintain and requires little or no training to operate.  It includes all of the precision-machined fixturing required for processing all of the popular black and color inkjet cartridges as well as a true vacuum chamber for refilling the inkjet cartridges with polyurethane foams.  An optional modular circuit and print tester station is also available for those not wishing to manage a large printer testing bank.

FAES has been servicing the imaging supplies industry since 1978 with its world-renowned SME Ribbon and inkjet machinery, CBR-SME inkjet equipment, REM ribbon systems, and one-stop on-line inkjet supplies products.  For more information please visit these websites www.cbr-sme.com or www.inkjetfactory.com
